“Good Variety of Tacos and a Fun Atmosphere!”
I dined here with some friends for dinner. The atmosphere is super fun, we all really enjoyed the decorations and vibrant colors. They have a good looking menu, we all ordered the taco platter which comes with three different tacos (chicken, fish, and pork). I liked all the tacos, it was a nice vari...ety. Price wise, it was a little expensive for what you get, but it is Okinawa. I am used to cheap tacos in the states. Service was fine, and our meals came out quickly. We were all satisfied with dinner, I could see myself coming back here, after all there were other things on the menu that looked delicious.

“Roastchicken and Mexicanfood Marisol Mexican Restaurant”
Although the name is a bit ridiculous in length, this fantastic little restaurant is no laughing matter. They’ve managed to take an old home, then convert the entire house into a Tex-Mex style shop. The décor and theme is very individualistic, giving you a pleasant feeling. You can choose any room i...n the house to eat in, which is great if you go with a larger group or bring children. The wait time wasn’t too terribly bad, but I can honestly say I was a little disappointed with the menial size of the quesadilla. It was very tasty however and included a very proportionate ratio of chicken to cheese, not to mention the tortillas were browned excellently. The tacos included a fair amount of meat, perhaps a bit too much lettuce, only one thin tiny tomato slice, but was otherwise redeemed from the impressive hard-shell. What surprised me was the separate bowl for sour cream, which is uncommon at an Okinawan Mexican-themed restaurant, and I was glad. Too many Mexican restaurants around Okinawa, Japan think that a bit of meat, a few pieces of tomato, and a gob of lettuce is considered Mexican food….WRONG. Although there was no complimentary chips and salsa, they did provide an odd, but delicious, slice of chocolate cake topped with powdered sugar; the blueberries and cream on the side of the plate was a great display of artistic projection, in my personal opinion. I give this restaurant a 4/5 because of the great taste and dedication as small business owners; transforming a home into an establishment that has poor location, yet still providing outstanding food and keeping customers coming. Keep in mind that some menu items have disappointingly small portions, considering the price you pay. The staff speaks English.
