Delicious broth and friendly staff. Lot of condiments on the table to enhance your dishes. Ordered ramen, fried rice, gyoza and fried chicken. Everything was made to perfection and taste very good.

“博多一幸舎 Ramen.”

Hakata is no short of famous and delicious ramen, challenging the likes of Tokyo and Sappro, and Hakata is known for dishing the best tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen in Japan. We have tasted Ikkousha ramen (Tokyo & Osaka) prior and have decided to try out the outlet at Hakata (博多一幸舎, 中洲店) on our ni...ght trip along Nakasu… Very accessible along Kokudai-dri. It was not very crowded when we visited at about 7.30pm. Not the elaborate type but rather small unit, and the interior is all authentic Japanese Ramen shop style. Signatures of the famous/artistes whom visited the shop graced it with their signatures! We ordered the soy sauce ramen which comes wit pickled bamboo shoots, sliced spring onion. The staff was friendly and watching them dishing out our dinner is sure pleasure. Food arrived with Japanese efficiency; no wait more than 10 minutes! Ramen came with the perfect broth – robust and piping hot, simply delicious. A slice of the ajitama added taste to the ramen. The handmade ramen served was a little hard (I did not specify and they have probably given me “barikata”), but the pork in the Tonkotsu sho-yu was well-seasoned. Prices were reasonable too at around 750Yen, sale through jukebox, the self-service type which is authentic!. We also ordered a tasty small plate of fried rice and gyoza! Overall good food and local ambience. Come try out yourselves, superior Hakata Ramen.!
