“Local favourite - so good”
Not long after we arrived early on a Saturday, the locals started to queue up out the door - a good sign. The place was clearly a community joint - pictures of the staff and boss drawn by local children. The wanton ramen was perfect. Broth was rich with a good amount of burn. The wantons were as go...od as I remember in Hong Kong - cloudy pillows of porky goodness. Ramen was freshly made and perfectly cooked - great texture to the tooth. There was a minor language barrier - but their friendliness (and patience with us clumsy foreigners) shone through. Given the long queue of locals, we tried to finish our meal quickly - but the head waitress asked us to slow down and not to worry. Then the boss brought out two complimentary duck-egg-sized strawberries to thank us for visiting. A perfect meal.

“Nice place to eat like the Japanese”
I read about this place on http://findingfukuoka.com/ramen/. There were a lot of Japanese people, including families, couples and businessmen. The place doesn't look impressive or very elegant, but it's clean. The kitchen is visible from inside. But the important thing is that the food is very good.... I paid 800 yen (around 6.50 €) for their Wonton Ramen, and it was very nice. But you need to know what you want - their menu doesn't have pictures, nor they offered me an English menu.
