Miyama Haebaru

As we were hungry and just floundering around, we stumbled upon this nice little restaurant within the "food area" of the mall. The outside had many waiting seats and had a nice display case full of nice foods. As we were seated at a table for two with our own hotpot, they gave us a Japanese only ...menu. We had to pick one flavour of broth (I believe the flavours were collagen, spicy, korean, and salty?), and the unlimited meat menu. We picked the beef and pork mix and the korean broth. The pan however was divided in two, and had a second clear light broth. With the press of the button, we could order cases of thinly sliced beef and pork. At the buffet area, you could pick up your veggies, rice/noodles, and see how the meats are cut (behind a counter). Next to the buffet area, a few machines are available for soft drinks, hot coffee or tea, and soft serve ice-cream. We splurged ourselves for 70 minutes in everything, and discovered the food was of high quality. After the designated time, the waitresses would put the receipt on the table to let us know we should wrap up. We enjoyed this dinner very much, although it was a tad bit more expensive than other chain restaurants.
