“Worth the wait!”
We arrived around 7pm on a weekday and there were about 20+ numbers before ours. We went strolling around for about 30 mins, came back and only had to wait for another few numbers before we were seated - so it took around 50 mins before getting a table. Most of the diners seemed to be tourists. The...y had English menu. We ordered the Thick cut premium pork loin roast set, and the Premium large sizes prawns set - they were so delicious! I must admit the pork loin was a little bit fatty, but the prawns were really nice. We could also refill the shredded cabbages, rice and miso soup for free. Highly recommend!

“Amazing!”
This restaurant was apparently very popular among both the locals and tourists alike. We waited about 45 minutes before we were allocated a table. The queueing system was automated. Upon entering the restaurant, just walked up to the kiosk and get a queue number. After the food arrived and tasting... the katsu, I could understand why the queue was so long. It was really good! The outside was crispy and the meat inside was extremely juicy and tender. Personally, I liked the fatty part of the pork as it had that additional flavor and texture to it. We tried the ginger pork as well and it was equally good. A must-visit restaurant if you are in Kumamoto.

“Superb pork tonkatsu and side dishes”
Amazing tonkatsu and side dishes. We visited twice and the tonkatsu was superb, the picled dishes as well as the sauces and the side dishes were delicious. We had to wait before being seated but we had the chance to review the menu. Service was friendly, quick and with the right amount of english to... explain everything one needs to know.

“Best meal in Kyushu”
A very good meal. The first time I travelled to Kumamoto in 2017 I tried this and loved it. I am back again this year and had to revisit. Fantastic, best meal I had in Kyushu.

“Superb tonkatsu and premium ebi set with lots of sides and sauces! ”
We ordered combo loin and fillet sets with premium ebi. The portions were so large that we were filled to the brim. Though many items are free-flow, we had no need for it. We also had hot sake and ginger ale to go with it. Highly recommended! Don't miss this out, a short wait is totally worth it.
