THE CALIF KITCHEN OKINAWA

The food is usually good. I’ve eaten here multiple times and the salad lettuce each time have been old and not crisp. I don’t recommend coming here alone. The workers will pass you over multiple times for groups making you wait long times before taking your order. The seating options are not good un...less you’re with others. Nicer seatings on sofas, corner seats, etc are not available unless you have others with you.

We wanted something light for dinner so we chose the Taco Rice and Loco Moco. We surprised by the large size when it arrived but it turned out to be the perfect serving size. Both very very good. They have a small area with a TV and toys to keep kids entertained.

Amazing food with a pretty view too. The staff were very kind and helpful; my friend and I were visiting Okinawa and wanted to go to the calif kitchen once we saw it online. We made a reservation just in case and travelled to the other end of the island to try their food. With many troubles and co...mplications for us foreigners, we could not make our reservation, but the staff were understanding and even helped us find a way back to our hotel after our meal. The staff were extremely friendly and kind. Not only that, but the food was AMAZING too! We both ordered the Hamburg Loco Moco and shared a side of the cheese risotto croquettes. They were delicious and we would definitely recommend. For dessert we shared the raspberry sauce skillet smores and that was also great. The price isn't cheap, but very reasonable and definitely worth every penny. The restaurant is foreigner-friendly unlike many of the other restaurants we visited. I would definitely go back if I visit Okinawa again.

I've bookmarked this place prior to my trip but wasn't aware that it's located on the third floor of the building. That was definitely a plus because the view up there was incredible. We didn't get there early enough for the breakfast menu but it wasn't a big deal since the lunch menu was great. ...Food wise, this ranks top on my list during my 7-day trip and that awesome sea view just brought me from reality to my dream. Wish I couldn't spend more time in Okinawa and I would return to this place (for their pancakes!)

everything we had was excellent. a little pricey, but you're also paying for the view....which is spectacular. Sit on the deck. Play area for the kids. We had "pink" pancakes...excellent, enough to share, but you have to wait 20 minutes. Also the soup they bring you is top shelf! Our entrees varie...d from shrimp to vegie curry. All of them great.
