“Refreshing change from salty ramen”
Great place for cheap and tasty meal. This restaurant offers a choice of hot or cold udon. Option to pay extra for ‘tonkatsu-like’ condiments. Both hot and cold using are equally good. Broth and dipping sauce is light and noodle texture is chewy. Water and tea is complimentary.

“Excellent for a quick meal or snack”
I've always found ramen to be too salty or heavy. Prefer udon and soba generally. This little restaurant in the mall is clean, friendly, and it makes an excellent light meal. Udon ranged from 500-700 yen, and you can order hot or cold udon. Due to time constraints we didn't get to go to the highest... rated udon place in town but nevertheless found our stop here a pleasing one.

“Fabulous cold noodle”
We had cold udon served on a big wooden bowel with some tempuras and fried chickens. Undon itself was thin and silky identical to Innaniwa udon, one of the best cold udon I have ever had and reminded me of cold udon in Akita in winter season. Highly recommend !

“Tender refreshing udon”
After many bowls of Hakata ramen, I read that Udon was first made in Fukuoka. We decided to eat at Noko Udon despite the fact that the one tripadvisor review we saw was not superlative because it was at Canal City and we really wanted to do a last bit of shopping before flying back the next day. N...oko Udon was in the basement of the North wing, and was very quiet when we arrived. The udon was thinner and more tender than at other places, and the burdock had a lovely texture. My udon had some beef as well which was tasty and almost melt in the mouth. It was one of the cheapest meals we had (under 700 yen for each item) AND they gave us a 10% discount.

“Unique noodle. Simple. ”
Simple menu. Unique noodle. Can't say it's awesome but quite satisfactory. I tried 'darai udon' which is cold noodle with soy sauce.
