Janomeya

Our first real meal in Japan! We wanted to go to another place nearby which is the oldest gyu nabe restaurant in Yokohama but they were fully booked even though our hotel called the day reservations opened supposedly. The beef set we got was really good. The meat was soft and delicious. The mushroom... was the silkiest I’ve ever had. Their nabe sauce is different and very good. I only wish they cooked for you though because I don’t think we balanced the sauce well.
