“Italian food in the Meguro area”
The food in this Italian restaurant was fine. The portions were generous, compared to other restaurants in Tokyo. Our order was brought promptly but… we had to ask for things that normally are provided without need for a request. For example, we had spaghetti and had to ask for a spoon to eat it wit...h, because we’d been given only a knife and fork. I’ve heard that Italians don’t eat spaghetti with a fork and spoon, but a lot of other people do, and Italian restaurants outside of Italy generally provide a fork and spoon automatically. I had to request hot sauce. I had to request grated cheese. I had to ask for a refill of the bread basket. The refill was free. I would have rated the service higher if the waitress had stopped by our table and asked if we wanted more bread. The bread was terrific, which is why we wanted a refill. The restaurant was crowded from noon to 1 p.m. If you arrive before or after that, no problem. There’s an English menu, or anyway almost English. The restaurant is a few minutes' walk from Meguro train station.

“Nice food but not very Italian”
This is a nice restaurant with pleasant staff, a peaceful atmosphere and a good wine list. The food was good quality but nothing like Italian. Most disappointing was the pizza which was soggy in the centre, but burnt on the outside. Anyway, I liked the Japanese-Italian fusion e.g. smoked octopus,... spaghetti with seaweed etc. Prices are good and service is quick so I would happily go back.

“Nothing special”
This has the feeling of a family-style Italian restaurant. Service is good, food is not bad, it is simply nothing to write home about.

“Good choice for families seeking comfort food”
Surprisingly good pizza just north of Meguro station. You can get takeout – but it’s expensive by North American standards (1400 yen for what would be a small pizza back home. But very tasty.

“Surprisingly good Italian”
I was not expecting an Italian restaurant in Japan to compete with any Italian experience I've ever had, but this place was great. Mushroom pasta with lots of fresh parm-regg, and garlic bread coated with real roasted garlic. It was great. There's no English menu so be prepared to use a translation ...app to figure out what to order, but it was great. The atmosphere's a little off, but the food is great and the location is convenient to Meguro station.
