“Big little steak house in Kichijoji!”
Despite the small space and limited seating, it was fairly simple to get a seat on a sleepy Wednesday night! My daughter, relative and I had dinner at 5:30pm at the counter (I recommend the counter over the seats! You can watch the chefs in action) ... they had the UMA-ZEN ¥3,000, while I ordered t...he INI-SHIE (sirloin), their top tier beef for ¥15,000. Added two glasses of red wine and walked out with a ¥22,000 bill (roughly $150). Best $150 I've spent in a restaurant. The wine isn't all that special Woodbridge Cab. But the steak was superb, especially the INI-SHIE sirloin. Just beware, it is very rich... in both ways - but delicious. If you're not sure what to order, I would recommend the TAKE-ZEN, at ¥5,000 you can't go wrong, AND it's the chef's recommended wagyu beef. Ours came as a set which includes salad, rice and miso soup. All you can eat rice for those who need to know! The staff are friendly and the chefs are efficient with their time within such a small kitchen area. ADA - no elevator ... just a steep stairway, so FYI... Final note, I read in one of the reviews, that they only take cash. Not anymore. All major credit cards are accepted including: AMEX, MC, VISA, Discover and JCB to name a few. Enjoy and if your budget allows go for the top tier set like I did ... it's worth it, especially if it's your one and done visit in Kichijoji!

“Amazing”
It was our first time in Mitaka and we wanted to try a steak. It was by accident we landed here. It's a tiny little place and because we booked early we were able to get a seat. The steaks are prepared in front of you and they really literally melt in your mouth. They were not cheap but as a treat ...were worth every cent. They don't take credit cards so make sure you have enough cash!

“Never disappoints”
My family and I love ‘wagyu’ and we are regular patrons of this restaurant as we live not too far away. Our nth meal here and it always meets, if not exceeds our expectations. We got the 200gr and it melted in our mouths. Arigatou for always satisfying our ‘wagyu’ cravings! ‘Til next time!

“Delicious Wagyu Steak”
The place was kind of small so you would need to make a reservation in advance to make sure you have seats. The food is a bit pricey by my standards but it was really good. The steak was cooked perfectly and the other courses were good as well.
