“Best meal of the trip!”
This restaurant was truly special - it was a wonderful experience. We were lucky enough to be the only guests for lunch so we had a one on one with the chef. He was wonderful and really took care in explaining the types of fish. He even took out the huge piece of tuna from the fridge to show us the ...original size and the different cuts. The sushi was also just unbelievable. Want to go back to Japan just for this place!!

“Super Sushi experience”
Was treated to a really special lunch at this amazing sushi restaurant. I had been recommended this spot for a very reasonably priced lunch and it surpassed my expectations. By some luck, I was the only dinner on a Friday lunchtime and had a one-on-one exploration of amazing flavours with a very gen...erous chef. I was mesmerised as he prepared each piece and explained the cuisine to me. For around $A30, this was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had. Highly recommend escaping the busy shopping district and enjoying a lunchtime here!

“Waste of time”
Finally found the place and arrived 13:45, only to be told they're closed. We explained TripAdvisor time states 14:30 and the waiter advised last order is at 13:15. We went to Restaurant Yukku, next door which was much more hospitable and reasonable

“Absolutely wonderful experience!!!”
We had the omakase lunch set for 2 - wow what an absolutely amazing experience!!! The dishes presented were really unique, unlike other omakase sets we have tried before and it was hard to choose a favourite. The chef assigned to us spoke good English too (having worked in Sydney!) so he explained t...he details of each dish and what condiments to use. Surprisingly not every dish requires soya sauce, such as the anago (eel) - only sprinkled with a bit of salt and lime zest but wow the taste was surreal and melts in your mouth. To top it all off, the pudding dessert was the cherry on top - had a hint of burnt caramel surprise as we dug in. We definitely recommend this place and would not hesitate to come back here for our next trip.
