“Chilling place in busy area”
The service was rather slow but the staff brought us to private section where you need to take off shoes and sit down around a table in a Japanese style. It was a busy summer Sunday and all places were packed and people were queuing for lunch. We had reservations but I am sure that it did not take ...so long to get a table here. Although food menu was limited for lunch, it was good enough for every one of us. They did not mind us taking time to catch up after a long time and let us stay there for almost 2 hours. It was truly hidden gem.

“good Ambiance”
The restaurant looked good. It was also busy so we opted to dine here. The only table available was the Japanese style seating. We had Yakitori which was good. Ordering was a problem because they did not understand English. That was a constraint and maybe did not get to order their special dishes.

“Great Chicken Bone Broth Hot Pot ”
In 2016 we came across this restaurant in Queens Square. On the advice of the waiter, we tried the Bone Broth Hot Pot. We enjoyed it so much that we went back this year. We were told that 100 chickens are cooked for 100 hours to make this broth. Whether that is true or not, I don't care, i...t's delicious "Oishi"! The chicken is tender but do add a little salt to the dish as it really brings out the flavor. It was #1 on the English menu. It's a must stop for us when we are in Yokohama.

“More than meat on a stick”
Yakitori, the delicious art of grilled meat on a stick. How could we resist? Had the most tender chicken ever, and the bits some might not. The chicken hearts were top stuff, very meaty. The menu (there's one copy in English) offers sushi and other Japanese favourites. I opted for the house special ...the red hot pot - a spicy broth made from chickens cooked for many hours. First course came with chicken, second with vegetables and the third with ramen. Cooked at the table in the broth, the dish was filling and delicious. Service could have been faster, meals timed to be served together better. But a busy night. The table of heavy drinking salarymen were amusing, especially the one who fell asleep mid course. Meal and drinks (a very good sake menu, which I sampled from) for four came to about 13,000 yen. Great value for the quality.
