“A Delicious First Night in Tokyo at Tsukiji Tamasushi”
Tsukiji Tamasushi was the perfect place for our family’s first dinner in Tokyo. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully balanced, and full of clean, rich flavor, exactly what you hope for when eating in Japan. Every piece, from the tuna to the salmon to the delicate white fish, tasted like it ha...d just come from the market. The miso soup was also outstanding: warm, comforting, and deeply flavorful without being too salty. We loved the variety, the quality, and how each bite felt special. It was a delicious, memorable start to our trip, and we would absolutely return on our next visit to Tokyo.

“Excellent Sushi ”
Stopped in for lunch, delicious & fresh sushi , great price for the quality. It’s located in the basement of the Wing Takanawa area (if you find the McDonald’s take the stairs or elevator to the basement). Really simple restaurant but very nicely decorated. Would highly recommend.

“Excellent Sushi”
Was looking for a close sushi Resturant near my hotel and this one was recommended. Excellent service, very fresh fish, excellent quality ingredients and a cozy small place in the B1 level of the mall. Prices for Japan are very fair and excellent for the quality. I do recommend it for a quick meal

“Excellent Sushi - local place - reasonably priced”
This restaurant is located in the B1 level of the Wing Takanawa West Plaza adjoining the Shinagawa Prince Hotel. The sushi is excellent - you have to wait a little bit of time for it - and you can order beer, wine, sake to go with it. Frequented heavily by locals, but welcoming to Westerners. We ...shared two different combination Sushi dishes, and enjoyed sake with it. A very enjoyable dinner here in Tokyo, and very reasonable compared to the neighboring Hotel restaurants.

“Wow! Some of the best sushi we’ve had”
After an exhausting all day tour of Tokyo we were quite hungry and wanted some good sushi without having to venture too far from out hotel. We found Tsukiji in the basement of a department store and were seated quickly. We were the only foreigners in the place so it’s obviously a local hot spot. ... The menu features pictures so if you’re not familiar with the names of the sushi you can just point. My wife had a combination plate consisting of about ten pieces of sushi, one hand cut tuna roll, tamago and a cup of miso soup. I ordered individual pieces and every one was better than the last. With two glasses of wines and two large bottles of Sapporo beer out bill and to about $75 USD This is definitely a great spot if you’re near Shinegawa Station.
