“Most food is good but terrible customer treatment”
Went there yesterday, service was generally smooth and for tourists they have tablets from where you can order in multiple languages. Most of the Yakitoris we ordered were ranging from good to excellent. When they brought the Tebasaki (Chicken Wings), my 5 yr old boy spit it out immediately and c...omplained about the taste / smell. I tried one and it was still pink / raw inside and the stench was overwhelming. Those chicken wings were definitely not cooked properly. Judging from the smell, they shouldnt have been sold to customers either. We politely asked them (in native Japanese) to take the wings back and remove them from the bill. 5 minutes later the Japanese waitress returned, told us that the wings were completely fine but that out of courtesy they will deduct it from the bill. Really? Next to us was a Cantonese-speaking family that (unjustly and rudely) complained about the small dish charge in English. Rather than getting a staff member who speaks English to deal with them, the (non-Japanese, maybe PRC) waitress just told them in Japanese that she doesnt understand, dropped the bill on their table and then walked off. Plenty of Yakitori places in town, especially in Shinjuku hence wont go back there.

“Great Local Restaurant”
It was hidden in the alleys yet it was huge and packed with locals. Really great yakitori and drinks.
