“Always look forward to eating here!”
I’ve been here a number of times and always try to stop when in Tokyo. Usually we get sukiyaki but I was on my own and decided on shabu shabu this time. It did not disappoint! Be ready to spend a bit, especially if you want extra beef. I ordered just the main not the course. Always a great experienc...e and I particularly love the friendly and helpful staff

“Traditional Japanese Restaurant”
Amazing beef cooked at the table and dipped in egg yolk. Vegetables and rice are served separately. We were the only Westerners in the restaurant although I think it would only seat 14 people. One to one excellent service. It was certainly an authentic experience and probably where Japanese people ...go for a celebration.

“Shabu shabu!!”
Great service! For 2 person- had regular shabu shabu with top beef and another order for high grade beef. Waitress recommended 2 orders and It was perfect portion. Came with vegetable and noodle. We would come back again.

“Lovely, but beware the private rooms?”
Slightly difficult to find. We had (somehow) booked a private room, which is delightful but somewhat tense, at least for us foreigners. The staff were excellent, the food superb. Do this if you are a friendly group or a loving couple!

“Best meal in Tokyo!”
Dinner hosted by Japanese associate. Sukiyaki kaiseki was ordered. The whole course was very substantial, and we can hardly finish the last dish which was scramble egg with sukiyaki sauce over rice. The hostess was very good in her sukiyaki cooking and service was wonderful. Was told this is a ver...y popular restaurant and booking is needed to guarantee a table (we had a private room).
