We came here because the hotel recommended it for sukiyaki. The place is a bit tricky to find (it is on the second floor but there is another restaurant with a similar name on the third floor) but nicely decorated inside with friendly staff. The sukiyaki was absolutely divine! We opted for the spec...ial wagyu dinner. They cook half of the ingredients for you and then let you cook the remaining half. The sauce was incredible and the meat was a great texture. The tofu, veggies, rice and noodles it came with were a nice addition. They also include dessert (sorbet) which was pleasant. A good value and tasty meal if you want sukiyaki. We left satiated, but should have ordered extra meat in retrospect because it was so good.

OK for shabushabu but very expensive for what it was (basic) and lacking in atmosphere. They also ddint say it was ash only for lunch when we booked or until we went to pay but that was all we had so they had to very begrudgingly talke cash

Our hotel recommended this place when we were told our 1st and main choice ,Zenan Teppanyaki was fully booked out for the week. We decided to try our luck walking by and did not reserved any seats. There were only 2 guests and later on another group of 4 tourists walked in too. We ordered the Kobe a...nd Matsusaka set. The beef is not as good as what we had at Zenan or Misono Kobe. Few pieces still have tendons and chewy and not like melt in your mouth beef. Probably we were given the leftover cut. Place was stuffy and hot on a winter night and the toilet has better ventiliation. The chef looked grumpy. The price on the menu is not all inclusive of VAT. Be prepared to pay additional 10% on top of the menu's prices, something I find unusual as most restaurants in this area go on a nett price menu. The waittress is quite new, do not know when to top up the green tea ( which tasted more like water), bring your coffee or tea or attentive to your needs. I guess we were spoilt by the good service, excellent food and value for money prices in Zenan (about 40% cheaper with 10 over appetisers of fishes, meat and noodle & A5 wagyu that melt in your mouth).

Our concierge recommended this restaurant and we could not have been happier. It was the best steak we had during our trip to Japan!!! Not only that, the people who worked there were beyond friendly and nice. We not only ate delicious food but had a wonderful and fun time!!!
