This a quirky and off the track kind of Italian fusion place, but the food is outstanding, prices reasonable and the staff are incredibly friendly and engaging. Be warned this is a Japanese owned and run restaurant and everything including the menu is in Japanese. The waitress staff may speak a ti...ny bit of English if you are lucky but everything is written in Japanese and no English menu. We were only non Japanese in the place and they did seem a little surprised when we arrived. J This place is a little hard to find but it is just 20 metres down a small alley off the Main Street on your left. Then down a narrow staircase. The staff are very friendly and do everything to make you welcome. The menu is mainly Italian with a Japanese twist. The portion size is not huge but enough for two people to share. Sharing dishes seems to be the norm in this restaurant and the staff provide everything you need for an easy dining experience. Good variety of drinks, with wine and beer etc. Food is cooked on an open kitchen so you can sit at the bar top and watch them cook or sit at small intimate tables. Would recommend the crab pasta which was delicious and tasty. Full of subtle flavour and angel hair pasta was cooked al dente. The beef with potato was also beautifully cooked and cut like butter with a great sauce. Prices reasonable for Tokyo mid range.

The Wife & Son had beef gyudon which they say is excellent, while l had eel version - which was excellent as well! Will return immediately, time permitting!
