“Good Isomaru chain but so-so in Central Rd”
We visited the Isomaru Akihabara location last year and still remember their fresh and giant scallops and the fun of tabletop grill! This time, the Shinjuku Central Rd location was just next block to our hotel, so we gave this a try! Servers welcomed us warmly, but they couldn’t speak any English an...d we had hard time to understand or ask questions about their ordering digital pad. We ended up using Google Translator and they seemed patient enough! Scallops in shell were big and fresh! Hamachi and sashimi were also fresh and delicious! My dissatisfaction is the Sashimi combo which had bad tuna slices hidden behind good yellowtail sashimi! Cheating! I would visit other locations next time since I still like this chain!

“Great seafood grilling place and very reasonable price”
Just visited this place for dinner tonight. It opens 24 hrs. This place usually has long line up during dinner and lunch time. We got there around 9:30 and there were only a couple in front of us. There is a max 2 hours limit per table which I think is more than enough to finish a meal. Every custom...er needs to order at least one drink (alcohol or not). There is a supplementary charge of 399 yen but give you a little appetizer. This place serves sashimi, deep fried, and grill your own seafood. They have fresh abalone, scallop, clamps and sometimes conk. They are all very tasty. The fried rice was very good too. Definitely a place to go if you like fresh shellfish. Beware, it could get smoky inside from the grills. Don't dress up nice going there. You could end up smelling like a piece of charcoal when you come out.

“It’s a Japanese style Pub”
One can enjoy grilling different fish items by themself along varieties of drinks. Food served was tasty, but the room atmosphere was very smoky, and I am worried about my health to go regularly. My eyes were stinging badly with smoke coming from griller and cigarette.

“Tourist trap”
Food was not good, it lacked seasoning and intention. The best thing was the French fries and it’s not cheap either. We were reminded that we needed to leave just after finishing eating with a sign, and it’s not like we wandered in the table more than 45 mins for the whole lunch. Avoid.

“Good taste ”
Food quite variety and good taste. I recommended to order don and eat with kani miso. Fresh seafood. For service, i think the staff quite small number so they cant take care all customers in the same time.
