“Pleasant find in Tokyo”
While in Japan for a tour, we stopped here hoping for a fish dinner. A lot of locals here. The waitress brought a grill and an appetizer of 2 fish patties and 2 sardines which she showed us how to cook on the grill. The patties were too fishy for me but sardines fine. My husband enjoyed both. W...e also ordered edamame, a mackerel and eel. Our waitress was kind enough to cook our fish for us since we didn't know what to do! The eel was to die for and way too much as it is very rich. We should have ordered a half portion. The mackerel was good, too. The wait staff were great and very patient with us. Decor was very atmospheric.

“Food ok, noisy atmosphere”
We managed to get a table on a busy Monday night without reservation as other restaurants were full. We ordered a selection of seafood, sashimi & some shellfish to cook on the grill. The scallops were served in their shell & they are not cleaned! Prawns were delicious. There were many large after ...work parties in, felt like Xmas! Very noisy. Drinks were served promptly after ordering on phone via the QR code.

“So disapponted”
I went to Isomaru suisan Shinjuku alone tonight, and waited outside to be seated. A waitress brought me in since there is a counter seat available, when I was seated and about to make an order, another waiter chased me out since suddenly more empty seats available to cater a bigger group. The waiter... was so rude and said no, no, it is reserved! But why your colleague invited me in at the first place and I am already in and seated??? Is that the way you treat your customer? So disappointed with Japanese service!!!!

“One visit is enough.”
The crab roe in shell was very good. The live clams and shrimps were good with a sweet flavor. The squid was also good. We ordered 2 live scallops - 1 was big but the other was much smaller. The conch was not good at all. I don’t think I will go back as it’s not cheap.

“Cuisine with seafoods”
We were able to enjoy drink and seafood at this restaurant. It was okay. I think you can enjoy drinks and seafood at a low price.
