“Always Perfect”
I've been to this Sushi restaurant about 5 times now over a period of about 18 months. Every time I visit Tokyo this is at the top of my list. Every time I visit I'm remembered and recognized by the staff. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere and the food is excellent. They don't speak much Englis...h, but make every effort to communicate and do so effectively. If in doubt, ask for omakase (chef's choice) and they'll make their best guess at what you would like.

“Superb”
Superb choice - the food was delicious and affordable, the restaurant has a homely feel with immaculate service. Good quality sushi. Dinner for two was ¥5,250 and it was great value. Highly recommended.

“Great food, even greater staff”
During our first stay ever in Tokyo, we, a friend and I, visited Okame Sushi, Minato. Tired and jetlagged by our trip from Denmark, we were met by the most kind, friendly and welcoming staff, who not only served us top quality sushi, but also took their time to embed themselves in our lives and cult...ure, displaying excellent service. Five days later, we decided to repeat the succes, and yet again the restaurant did not fail to impress us in any aspect. We were recognized instantly, proving that the service wasn’t just in pursuit of the business. This is thus far the greatest place we have eaten during our trip in terms of food, service and convenience, and we can do nothing but to come again. Michael and Kasper

“In Tokyo then you must try the sashimi and sushi here”
Its worth a visit or two (or more) to 'Okamezushi' where you will enjoy the unique flavours created by the 5th Generation Manager Fumihiko (speaks English) and Chef Hiroshi Fukuzawa as they prepare their seafood delights right in front of you at the counter. You see them prepare the sashimi or sushi... using their age old techniques and them add toppings delicately. The seafood is so fresh and the flavours so light they will blow you away. We had fresh fish, eel, Ikura (roe), prawns, octopus, hotategai (scallops), and awabi (abalone). If someone had told me that I would enjoy raw fish and seafood then I would have said no way, however, here it is prepared with love and fun and so well that's its actually really delicious. Its a dining experience in Tokyo not to be missed.
