“Good foods with a nice view”
We visited this restaurant at the first night of our arrival to Tokyo. We booked a table well in advance before arrival through hotel’s concierge and the restaurant reserved a table at the corner adjacent to window. It is on top floor of Odakyu Department Store at Shinjuku. The service here is ex...cellent and caring. We ordered one sushi set, one Japanese steak set and an a-la-carte assorted tempura. Food quality was so good and yummy, though the bill was not cheap at about 8000 yen per person in average. Must go there next time we visit Tokyo.

“The best Japanese food experience ”
Two thumbs up! We had a course dinner, which was amazing. A dink, appetizers, grilled vegetables, bacon wrapped fish, beef steak, a bowl of rice, and miso soup were served. All dishes taste good. Especially beef from Hokkaido seasoned with Pakistan rock sea salt was the best. Watching the chef's coo...king was amusing my eyes and taste buds. The staff was friendly and communicable in English. I visited with mom and she said the experience of this restaurant was unforgettable. I strongly recommend here if you are a foodie like me.

“Lunch near Hyatt Regency without reservation on 12/23”
Dessert was the best. Location is convenient. Quality overall is ok. Rather over priced set. Service is standard. Crowd is mostly local not so many tourists. Only 5 min away from our hotel recommended by the concierge.

“Heavenly teppan steak dinner in Shinjuku”
Nadaman Hinkan serves teppanyaki, tempura, and sushi in an elegant, traditional setting. As soon as you walk in, you know you're in for a special Japanese dining experience. It's not cheap, but if you'd like the experience without breaking the bank, visit there at lunchtime (weekday beef steak lun...ch sets are about JPY 3800; on weekends they have a JPY 5000 lunch set). I ordered the fillet steak set while my dad went for the prime wagyu sirloin a la carte since he didn't care for anything else. The marbled beef was served with garlic chips and two different sauces, as well as sea salt. It was cooked to perfection and fairly melted in our mouths...I don't think I've ever had steak that good before! I highly recommend it for the quality of the meal and the impeccable service from start to finish. TIP: Reserve the counter seats (by phone) if you want to observe the chefs in action. There are counters for sushi and tempura as well as teppanyaki.

“Best Japanese food in this trip”
Japanese fine dining above a large department store. We were lucky enough to get a table in the corner with a great view of Shinjuku. The waitress in kimono was busy, but our food were served relatively smoothly. All the dishes were presented very well and tasted amazing. I also had two kaiseki me...als in mid-to-high price range hot spring ryokans, but the food here was by far the best we had in our whole trip. Would definitely visit again.
