Jackpot

We went to have oysters. Oysters were good as well as all the other dishes like anchovies French fries, dumplings and tuna avocado salad. Staff were also friendly and good service. 生牡蠣食べたくなって行先探して行ってみました。生牡蠣はもちろんの事事、それ以外の料理も美味しくスタッフの皆さんのサービスも良かったです。

When walking though a Tokyo neighborhood and chancing upon a restaurant, you can walk into one of two categories: 1) food that is 'to die for'; and 2) food that is 'to die from.' Fortunately the Jackpot in Ebusu was the former. We had an excellent meal for a reasonable price. Two warm appetizers and... two entrees and the bill was about 5000 yen. The warm shrimp with orange mayonnaise appetizer was incredible. The lamp chops were served rare, with a generous (by Japanese standards) quantity as well as excellent roasted potatoes, onion and bulb of garlic. The Szechuan noodles not only set your mouth on fire but did the same all the down to your stomach. Like many Tokyo restaurants it has an open kitchen and was a bit noisy, and, like Japanese restaurants, they do not worry about serving the appetizers together first, followed by the mains. They arrived in a random fashion. If you can get over that, this is a great place to eat. We would go back anytime.
