Wainshokudoh Burumare Shinjukuten

Went with my wife last night. Turned out to be a really nice place to eat, what I like about it is that outside they have photos of all the dishes so you know what to order, both our dishes, pizza and lamb chops were very nice and price is very good, definitely worth a visit , specialise in wine .

We ate here twice. First time I had paella which was really just so-so. My partner had garlic shrimp pasta which was very good. Second time we went, we both had pizza which was excellent. Would have given 5/5 except for my paella.

Almost everyone sitting near us was having pizza, so we ordered the same. Dinner was a margherita/4 cheese pizza, bowl of olives, 2 coffees and gelato. The pizza was thin crust and delicious. Just the right size to share. Total came to 4,400 Yen. We asked for the non-smoking section but we were ...seated next to the door going into the smoking section. Every time someone went in or out, smoke came out.

I been to Blumare at least 4 times since 2014, the pizza is still good but a little mushy and on the bland side. The fondue is not the same fondue I remember from previous visits - it seems as though Blumare prepares the fondue ahead of time and stores them, so the fondue is served cold and you have... to wait until the cheese melts before you can eat it. Even then the portion was so small and disappointing in flavor. I'll try Blumare again, writing this visit off as a bad night. The meal wasn't terrible but it wasn't the Blumare I remember.

I went there for a dinner for a party of four including an alumni of our company. Some feedbacks made me feel a little nervous; but it turned out to be a casual western style restaurant where reasonable drinks and foods were available. Sliced steaks were good, reasonable red wines are good.
