“A lot of tofu and tofu-like dishes”
Was more impressed by the fact that it the restaurant (or at least the original in Kyoto) has been around since shogunate times than by the food itself. Don't get me wrong - I'm sure that our menu was the top of the line as we had at least 12 courses and it was specially selected by our very gracio...us hosts, but some of the dishes seemed repetitive to me, i.e., a lot of tofu and tofu-like dishes. There was one selection that I particularly liked - chicken in broth, but I didn't finish it as we were only midway through the many courses and I was afraid that I would be too full.

“Typical Japanese Restaurant in a mall”
We went there as part of a group to experience Japanese food. The fixed menu was heavily seafood and fish, so if you don't want 6 courses of this, don't go. The food was adequate and the service slow.

“Quiet & spacious "kaiseki" restaurant in Yokohama”
Mom took me to this restaurant for lunch, since she really liked it when she visited there with her friend last time. We arrived there around 2:30, which was pretty late for lunch. There was only one more customer then, and later two more ladies came in. We ordered "gozen," which is only served ...at lunch, for 2000 yen. It looked pretty and tasted wonderful. You can purchase membership for a year by paying 1000 yen, which gives you 5 % discount on your order and drink coupon every month. I will definitely go back to this place, when I am in Yokohama.

“Delicious traditional meal set!”
I went for lunch with colleagues and had a traditional set for 4100 yen (though they offer much more expensive meals). This was beef and mushrooms that you cook on a hot stone, along with salad, soup, sashimi, pickle, and dessert. Delicious!

“Special Kaiseki traditional japanese meal”
This restaurant is specialized in traditional Japanese fine cuisine meal, the Kaiseki. The menu consists of many traditional courses (we took the 8 courses menu) including vegetables, fish, meat, rice, fruit and dessert. It is an expensive fine dining but it's worth. The service is top quality Japan...ese service with waitresses wearing kimonos. Probably not good with children as the meal is very long.
