Tokuju

外国人にはあまり歓迎的ではないかもしれません。自分を歓迎しない人たちにお金を払う必要はありません。 Trip Advisorのレビューや写真を見て、このお店で夕食をとても楽しみにしていました。そこで予約の電話をかけました。私の日本語はかなり上手で、日常的な会話には全く問題ありません。 10月31日の12時56分に予約の電話をしたところ、「満席です」と言われました。しかし、電話口の男性の対応にとても違和感を覚えました。歓迎されていないと強く感じました。そこで試しに、秘書課の女性に3分後に電話をかけてもらったところ、すぐに予約が取れました。 私はバイリンガルですが、それでも歓迎されているとは...感じませんでした。そこで予約をキャンセルし、別の店を予約しました。 私は銀座の「馬喰一代」によく行きます。そこでは私のお金が価値あるものだと分かってくれています。 この「徳寿」という店には、もう二度と行きません。私のお金を払うことはありません。 Maybe not so welcoming to Foreigners. Don’t give your money to people who don’t want you. I was really looking forward to going to this place for dinner based on the Trip Advisor reviews and pictures. So I called to make a reservation. My Japanese pretty good, and I am very functional. I called at 12:56PM on 10/31 to make a reservation, and I was told there were no tables available. I had a really strange feeling from the man on the phone. I felt way less than welcome. So on a hunch I had one of the women who work in our secretariat call and she was able to make a reservation only 3 minutes later. Even thought I am bilingual, I was not made to feel welcome. So I cancelled my reservation, and reserved another place. I frequent Bakuro Ichidai in Ginza, and they know my money is good. So this place, Tokuju, it wont get my money. I will never go.

This spot is a hidden GEM!!! Beautiful premium wagyu that just melts. The service was exceptional also. No English menu but our server was so helpful and gave recommendations. 10/10 for this place.
