“Pork Chop Heaven in Chiba”
Talk about your pleasant surprises! This Chiba-based chain serves up some great pork chops and fried shrimp. I went with the jumbo pork chop that comes served on a grate to keep it from being too greasy. I recommend the spicy mustard in combination with the variety of sauces available. The keep t...he shredded cabbage coming to offset the spice of the toppings. I tried the bamboo soup and it was surprisingly strong as well. The chocolate ice cream was our only option on an early evening visit with the green tea ice cream already out of stock. Overall this was a solid culinary experience with a very Japanese take on a common western dish.
