“Really good food”
Nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Mushroom soba was amazing, as well as rice-chicken-egg. would come back.

“Welcoming restaurant with good soba and tempura”
Next to Tsurugaoka Hachimangu on Wakamiya Oji is this restaurant with traditional Japanese. We were offered English menu immediately and staff an effort to explain to us how to eat:) Nice gesture even though I eat Japanese often. The cold soba dipped in sauce was good. The tempura was excellent. ... Worth a visit.

“A dream come true”
This is the restaurant that made my life long dream come true - hot soba noodles. In this case in a broth with slices of the most amazing pork. It was just a pop-in while we walked the streets of Kamakura. I'm glad we made it our stop. I also tried the local beer. A tasty lightly dark ale.

“Great for a set meal”
This is an efficient Japanese chain restaurant. I wish there was a 4.5 star option. This score is because of the generous set meals and good price (Y1800-Y2100 for a huge good quality meal ) especially in the heart of Kamakura. It is a spacious and comfortable restaurant and I,m writing this after m...y 3rd visit. Most meals are themed around soba and tempura (I had huge prawn, eggplant & pumpkin) with variations of sashimi ,rice, salad, pickles, japanese egg / prawn custard ( chawamushi) hot or cold etc . Its not fine dining but very tasty hearty food and a nice retreat from kamakura crowds.
