“Afternoon tea”
I visited for afternoon tea. The did not serve anything savoury with it. It was all sweet. There was a choice of teas and the bitter chocolate fondant tart with caramelised cashew nuts was very good. There was a good selection of amuse bouche sized sweets including a melt in the mouth rose macaron, ...a small square of chocolate brownie, a tiny scone and two small scoops of good quality vanilla ice cream. The only let down was a pannacotta with a lime jelly that had far far too much gelatine in it. You could stand a fork in it. Apart from that, it was a very enjoyable afternoon tea. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor of the Lumine department store. The staff were very polite and pleasant and I would recommend this as an enjoyable mid afternoon break in Shinjuku.
