“Excellent Food great Atmosphere”
What a fantastic restaurant. Very Japanese and the staff were very entertaining. Once they put us on the English version of the iPad it was easy to understand and order your food. The quality of the meat was excellent. Well worth a visit

“Disappointing”
Had the Gyu Kaku in Singapore a couple of time and It was good. So i decided to try the Gyu kaku in japan since i was on a holiday there. The staff manning the front door and cashier was rude. I ask him a question in english but he told he don't speak English which is fine for me. I subsequently sh...ow a text message in Japanese based on google translate. Without even looking closely ，the staff covered his ears and say i don't know english 3x time. Yes, i know you don't understand english that why i show u in Japanese text. We order the the wagyu beef and it was really disappointing. The meat was served frozen and it was really hard to cook frozen meat on bbq style. Most of the meat was overcooked. Feel so disappointed i spend 180 SGD on this.

“A little disappointing”
This is one of those Japanese chains which are generally reliable for getting decent food. We ordered from the ala carte menu as the best beef cuts were not available in the buffet menus. However, when the food arrived, they do not look like the category they are classified in. Taste-wise, the beef ...was not nicely marbled and tasted so so... Disappointed with the food quality...

“The food was good”
We had the luxury menu and were very surprised because of the large selection we had. The food was very good I would recommend to go there again.
