We are "Tororo Kaiseki Restaurant" Asakusa Mugi Toro serving our specialty Mugi toro (Dissolve grated yam in special soup stock and poured on top of the barley rice). We serve various kinds of Tororo dishes and dishes using seasonal ingredients.
Asakusa Mugi Toro has opened at the foot of a Komagatabashi Bridge over the Sumida River in 1929. “We want everyone to eat one bowl of Mugi toro.” That thought has led us to this day. "Kaiseki cuisine" made with carefully-prepared seasonal ingredients that changes every month. Also, Kaiseki cuisine spreads Tororo's dishes' world and it can be brightly enjoyed also for your eyes. We welcome you in elaborate rooms, from large halls for large groups to private rooms for small groups.
