“Good, but not up to western standards”
After five weeks of mostly Japanese food for dinner, where potatoes of any kind were very scarce, we had to have something with fries for a change. So TGI Fridays it was. We both had ribs, coleslaw and fries. Whilst ok, the quality was nowhere near as good as in western franchises, particularly the ...ribs. Nevertheless we enjoyed the change of diet.

“Waste of time”
Attempted to book TGIs for Christmas Day but was unable to do so online. Ended up eating elsewhere. Popped into TGIs after to have some of their cocktails. There was a huge queue waiting to be seated for food. I walked in the restaurant asking if we were able to sit at the bar because the restaurant... was practically empty and we weren’t eating. The man swiftly shooed me to the back of the queue and said I’d have to wait as part of the food queue. Safe to say we did not wait just for drinks. We then returned 45 minutes prior to closing time when there was no queue and got told the restaurant was closing so couldn’t serve us.

“Not coeliac friendly! Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.”
We chose this restaurant as it was number one in all searches for gluten free restaurants in Yokohama. We arrived and explained that partner was a coeliac and provided a detailed sheet on what Partner could eat. What followed was hilarious..not a single person could understand allergies to the grain...s of wheat, barley, rye. Finally after much carry on it was decided a burger without the bun would be the go. My partner confirmed that cheese and bacon were ok. The meal arrived a beef patty and salad...no bacon..no cheese and the staff had to check that vegetables were safe so it was obvious the cooks (please note they could not be chefs)had no idea about gluten intolerance. This restaurants review as number one on all sites for GF restaurants is fake and I suspect that bots wrote the reviews. Last but not least my partner is currently trapped in the bathroom so even the meat patty had flour included. I’m so disappointed!

“Nice food”
Restobar very nice. We came on weekday for lunch and it is not so busy. We ordered 3 in 1 for starters and full jack Daniels ribs and I can tell you that is more than enough for 2 people to eat really well

“A Friday on a Wedneday”
Had dinner here, we had tacos and a burger , salads and fries with a great beer. good food, good service, great atmosphere, good staff But Japan is Expensive
