As a chef that used to work for Outback steakhouse in the UK, I visited the restaurant on my holiday in Japan. The food was just as amazing as I remember it! My wife and I visited here twice as the food was so good. Excellent service, and my experience was made all the more memorable by the two mana...gers Mike Katagiri and Mashashi Tamugi who welcomed us as guests and an old employee of Outback!

Our family had dinner at your Outback Steakhouse Shinagawa on August 8, 2025. Everything was excellent except for our ribeye steaks and fillet. Somehow these cuts of meat seemed to have been cooked in a frying pan instead of a grill. There were no grill marks and exceptionally dry and tough to cu...t. Our steaks were drier than the Sahara Desert! Another problem was the lack of the prime rib.

Been here with my family shortly before closure and it might have the language barrier but it was not the best experience. Food took very long - some stuff I ordered did not come out at all … refill service was also not great. Food was your typical Outback food with a light Japanese touch

We are Australian and our hotel was very close by so decided to try The Outback Steakhouse which advertised half price drinks from 5 - 7pm. The restaurant is downstairs and opens up into a large restaurant space. In order to take advantage of the half price drinks you have to sit at the bar. As an o...lder couple we normally don’t like sitting on bar stools but they were comfortable. The bar staff were super friendly and efficient. We started chatting to a couple of Japanese ladies sitting beside us and ended up having a wonderful night. The western food was very reasonably priced for Japanese standards. We shared half a rack of lamb which came with creamy mashed potato and vegetables and a combo of pork ribs and chicken which came with salad and chips. All the food was absolutely delicious. On our final night in Japan we decided to return to the Outback Steakhouse. Although different staff the service and atmosphere was once again excellent. This time we shared a full rack of lamb. We asked for medium rare as we had on our previous visit however it was more rare than we normally have but still very tasty. Once again we chatted to another diner sitting next to us. We thoroughly enjoyed both our dining experiences at this restaurant and it was a great way to meet other diners. Highly recommend if you are looking for a great atmosphere with reasonably priced western food.

Brilliant meal and hospitality was amazing. A shout out to Masafumi Migita. The absolute best barman. Get in and see him - you won't be disappointed.
