“Highlight of my week in Tokyo”
We were staying in Shinjuku and came upon this restaurant and since I always said when I go to Tokyo I will have to try Fugu we decided to give it a go. It turned out to be the highlight of my week. We went for the fresh tiger blowfish course (min 2 people) with a couple of beers and some sake and h...ad a fantastic meal. Our server was great guiding us through the different courses. Also I was expecting to pay well over £100 each but the whole bill came to 18000 yen (about £65 each). Great staff, great food, great price and a great experience.

“Excellent Fugu Dishes at Great Value!”
It was recommended by friends that it was a must-try restaurant in Tokyo, and true to their words, my experience at the restaurant was great! As fugu is one of the most toxic fish, only licensed restaurants in Japan can serve. The fugu set I had was truly delicious - from the fresh sashimi, to the t...ender boiled fugu fillet, to the deep-fried fugu. The menu was very extensive, it also offers a charcoal-fugu set. I would definitely return.

“Great place to try Fugu!”
Came here with friends to try Fugu! Reasonably priced with good Japanese ambience. Didn't really like the taste but that's a matter of personal taste since my friends love it. Great presentation and highly recommended to try this place.

“Could be authentic but I just can't appreciate fugu”
So much hype around fugu. It is actually a tasteless fish with a firm and chewy texture. No matter how you cook it. But the restaurant was packed with locals so obviously my partner and I are missing something! It's the fugu milt season as well. I tried it. It's comparable to a very creamy oyster ...without the fishy shell taste. Not bad. I went out of curiosity but I am sure I won't be keen to try fugu again. It's at best a normal dish but definitely not a delicacy to me.
“Toxic dinner with fugu fish”
The best in terms of special. Move aside Britney. This TOXIC fugu takes center stage now. With only licensed chefs allowed to prepare all dishes associated with the Japanese fugu, it made me very special indeed for this winter dinner. Fugu sashimi so thin you can see through, tasty fried fugu, and s...immered vegetables and fugu (was still moving before the pieces were thrown in) in a paper bowl! This collagen-rich fish dish is a must experience for a Japan visitor. I was very fortunate indeed to be a guest at this restaurant which served dishes from fugu. Taste wise, indistinctive as compared to sushi but nothing beats the once-in-a lifetime occasion:)
