“Pretty Good (but better in Hong Kong)”
Soup dumplings are one of my favorite foods, and DTF has a reputation as being one of the best places to go. My wife and I visited their Michelin star branch in Hong Kong and were blown away. Somewhat less so here. The skin of the dumpling is rather thick, which takes away from the experience and ta...ste. Veggies were great, the hot and sour soup was good (but not spicy enough by far), and the desserts were wonderful. Very good, but in Tokyo, there are better places.

“Too sweet- Japanese taste”
It’s very popular, we went around 11.40pm and need to wait around 20min. I’ve been to a few din tai Fung in Taiwan, hk and China and by far this one is the weirdest. The menu is catering to Japanese taste and I ordered the dumplings and the skin is much thicker than the other branches. Ordered some d...ry and soup noodles ,both are quite sweet. The hot and sour soup is only sour, not hot at all and put black peppers instead of white. Overall, I think Japanese will enjoy but not Chinese people.

“good xiao long bao”
Xiao long bao is good. The dumpling cover does not melt in my mouth but it is worth a try. The steamed pork buns (nikuman) is okay. Nothing so special, I have eaten steamed pork buns that are way better than what DTF offers. Chahan (chaofan / stir fried rice) is not worth ordering.

“Amazing as always!!”
This is the 3rd country we have tried DTF in and it lives up to the legacy. Was a decent wait to get in of about 30 minutes, line moved quickly though. The xiao long bao are amazing, the broth in them was one of the best we have tasted, so rich and fatty, silky smooth texture. The pastary was very d...elicate with a mild taste as not to over power the filling. The pork buns were delicious, the bun was so soft and sweet, and the filling as per the xiao long bao. Drinks were pricey and quite small serving size, so just drink the free tea. A little tricky to find but managable. If your a dumpling fan make time.

“A Little Disappointed”
I love Din Tai Fung and have been to many locations. The food is usually consistently great and the portions similar from location to location. So, I was very surprised when my Shrimp and Pork Dumpling Soup which usually has (8) dumplings in it came with just (3) in it tonight at this location. O...ther dishes were a bit off as well. The service was a bit below average for a DTF. Overall, just 3/5 stars from me this time. Hopefully, management reads this and makes the required changes to be consistent with other outstanding DTF locations around the world.
