“Small and nice tempura place”
The place quite small, probably for 20 people or so. Staff is friendly, some of them speak English. Tempura is wry tender, not overcooked, light.

“Yet another Tokyo gem”
This place might be in the basement of an office tower (so not common in the UK for example) but it’s a buzzy great little place serving tasty tempura, and the lady who served us was super helpful and welcoming. We had two tempura set meals, the A and the B, with some tea. I wouldn’t say it was as t...asty or clean and fresh as the tempura place I reviewed on here the other day, and this could be down to the food boxes arriving at our table with lids on so the moisture could have affected crispness, but we both really enjoyed it and I thought the portion sizes decent. Tokyo continues to delight for value, taste and service. We’ll be back...

“Tasty tempura served beautifully”
We were taken here for lunch and had beautiful bento boxes of tempura with rice and miso soup. The boxes are presented beautifully. Service was quick and prices reasonable. Seafood does get mixed in with vegetables so if you are unable to eat seafood the vegetarian option isn't fully vegetarian!

“Great rice dishes”
Had the mixed tempura seafood, as well as the prawn tempura. Both were done really well, good flavours, served with an excellent miso soup, which actually had tiny clams in the shell, which gave the soup another dimension. The tempura was very good. Would come back here if I was in the vicinity. As ...we did not know what to order, looked around what the locals were having, and one suggested that we have the seafood tempura. What a great suggestion!!
