“Back to a forgotten time of hospitality elegance - superb dining and service excellence”
Blown away by this restaurant. Sits in an unassuming residential area and looks quite incongruous compared to the modern buildings around it. Stepping inside is akin to stepping into a parallel universe where service is something that is valued and genuinely cared for. We were welcomed by around 6 s...taff in traditional outfits and after removing shoes we were guided to our private room for the evening. Walking around the huge carp to our room you start to feel instantly relaxed but excited for what surprises lay ahead. I can't do justice to the food we had so will just say we had around 7 or 8 courses each one different in their own way and I enjoyed them all. For me the star was the finely sliced beef that just melted in the mouth. the service was superb and the eye for detail from the staff is impeccable. Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough, if you were get the chance to visit whilst in Tokyo, go and enjoy - you'll never forget it!

“Awesome Japanese Cuisine”
Tsukiji Jisaku is one of the very best japanese traditional restaurant in Tokyo. It is a pity not to be able to give a higher note to this restaurant as the restaurant itself, the service and the exquisite food are really worth 7 stars. They serve so-called "nabe" food and all dishes served before... the nabe are delicate, excellent and very unique taste. Very highly recommended restaurant, but high price.

“Epic Disaster”
Alain Ducasse or Fat Duck prices for worse than conveyer-belt food. Most of the kaiseki dishes tasted like they'd spent a day or more in a fridge. Nasty gummy un-fresh raw shrimp. You're paying for the private-room experience aimed at corporate salaryman nights from hell.. If you are Japanese and in...vited here by your boss you have made it in life but Western tourists should steer clear. Some kitsch and cultural value in the 1978 ambience - boardrooms reeking of stale cigarettes - and the views around the carp pond
