While in Tokyo for a few days we were taken here by friends who live local. There were eight of us and we were booked into a private room, shoes have to come off and you sit on cushions on the floor with your legs under the table. It is a real Japanese fish restaurant with a great ambience and terri...fic food . Service is great. We had some scrumptious Sashimi, very fresh tasty salads and the grilled mackerel was delicious. Another interesting dish was the Salmon Roe Donburi,order this as their is a real loud performance that goes with it every time it is ordered, This has become a tradition by the looks and is a bit of fun. Throw in a couple of good saki’s and a great night was had by all, a nice experience would definitely go again . It was very busy so would recommend you book or you could miss out.

Excellent, authentic Japanese meal with friendly atmosphere. Quality ingredients translate to quality food. Definitely have the salmon roe soup.

I'm a big fan of this restaurant. I've been in this place several times and I always bring visitors to this unique place. This restaurant have a good combination of great service, nice ambience (very local - I've never saw a tourist here) and offers an unique experience to eat big Ikura bowls for... approx USD 30. The restaurant is affordable, menus and service in English are available but you need to have a reservation.
