“Great place for family dinner out!”
My 8 years old son had a great fun fishing, and then eating it afterwards when it returned to our table as a tasty ‘grilled fish’. Staffs were super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

“Fishing”
The fishing was very exciting and fun. The sushi and tempura were also of high quality and very delicious. It has become my favorite restaurant.

“Fun and memorable dinner!”
I highly recommend this restaurant, mostly if you are travelling with kids (but kids are not required, adults can have a great time here too!). The concept is very entertaining. A “river” runs through the restaurant and you fish your own fish and choose how you want it prepared. We caught a sea brea...m and had it prepared 1/2 sashimi and 1/2 grilled with salt. It was delicious and very fresh! We ordered the fish set menu which is great value (and a lot of food!). The tempura and sushi are good. This is not the best food you will get in Tokyo but it will surely be one of your most memorable dinners! Lots of Japanese families visit with kids and the place is very lively and entertaining.

“Teach a tourist to fish, and you'll have the best time!”
Zauo is a fun, unique, gimmick of a restaurant where you catch your own fish and have it prepared however you want. It requires a bit of patience to bait your hook and then try and catch the fish out of the makeshift pond, but it's a fun, Japanese experience different from a traditional seated dinne...r. The staff is friendly and helpful with the fishing experience, and they will prepared your caught fish however you want. I went with a local and she had as much fun as I did, so I would add this restaurant to anyone's dining list while in Tokyo.

“Amazing Japanese experience ”
We were taking here on a food tour. You catch your own fish and chose how it is cooked. My children absolutely loved it. We went back with friends. For me the food was the best and people can smoke in the restaurant!!!! HORRIBLE to eat my dinner and someone smoking next to us. The wine choice ...is one! One red an one white. The spot has the potential to be amazing despite my negative comments it is soooo worth a visit!
