I was sitting across the alley and watching people go up and down the stairs to this restaurant frequently, so I thought it was a good sign to give this restaurant a try. Upon opening the door on a rainy Tokyo evening, I was greeted immediately by a very friendly staff who ushered me in, took my um...brella and seated me at a comfortable table. I was immediately served when ordered, i was offered the English menu (not just dropped at the table, but kindly asked). Also, the staff checked my agreeability on all the meats in the set plate ordered, to assure if I would prefer to substitute any. Very hospitable, serving, gracious, and wonderfully helpful. This was a feast for me and everyone in the restaurant was so very kind and professional. i would definitely eat here again on my return to Tokyo!
