“This is Kobe Beef??”
After all the rave reviews about this place, finally made it over to Tokyo. Reservation was made through the hotel and first red flag was the restaurant stated that in order to book a reservation, it was required to order the most expensive option on the menu? I've never heard of such thing and tol...d the receptionist that there is another option on the menu that I was interested in that did not cost as much. Then finally, they agreed to the reservation. Upon arriving, we were seated promptly and the chef came out with the most unfriendly and unwelcoming vibe. Also note that it was just my gf and I in the restaurant.....that's how dead the place was. They clearly were struggling for business and I can see why. Now I know why they were demanding that we had to order the most expensive option because they had no customers. Pretty pathetic. Chef waited impatiently while we decided on what to order and didn't even say a word or ask if there were any questions. I honestly wanted to get up an walk out, but didn't want to ruin it for my gf. Waiters kept starring at us from a distance throughout the night and it was quite annoying. We ordered just the Akita beef option for two, some sparkling water and a bottle of wine which came out to $550. Was very excited to try the Kobe beef which I couldn't believe how chewy and terrible it was for such a price. I thought Kobe beef was basically melt in your mouth, but it was worse than an average Steak House in the US. There were a few other patrons who mentioned that this place was nothing special and they were pretty spot on. The red bean pancake dessert was nothing special either. Couldn't believe how bad the experience was from the reservation, to first impressions, unfriendly chef, and the unacceptable quality of food. First time in Japan to try Kobe beef and this was what I experienced. Not recommended

The delicate and professional way in which the chef cooked the wagyu beef was remarkable. meted some of its own fata and slightly shared it, then cleaned the Teppanyaki and meted buitre and shared it more untill buitre brownish, then he clean the sepan again and shared ti to perfecto with the little... buitre stucked to the meat. Spectacular taste and tenderness. Like all meat restos in ginza its expensive. 500Us dinner for too, quite worth it.

“Very nice Akita beef teppanyaki restaurant with its charm of Akita”
First welcomed by Chef who wait for us at the restaurant's front. Locate in Ginza area, here is one of very nice teppanyaki restaurant with premium beef from Akita. Live teppanyaki cooking in the very antique furniture from its original shop from Akita. Storyful dining experience that use premiun in...grediants from Akita from beef, rice, soy sauce, water, and noodle! Skillful and friendly chef, impressive hospitality, such a great meal. Few guests of my group can not have beef yet just let the restaurant know in advance and they can prepare seafood course as well. Very impressed with rice and soy sauce apart from its outstanding mouthwatering BEEF.

“Delicious and Interesting Food Adventure”
This place had amazing beef. When making reservations, make sure to reserve the counter where you can interact with the chef and watch your food being cooked in real time (this is where all the magic happens). The chef was engaged, enjoyed talking about the food, how the dishes were prepared, the hi...story of the building, and the porcelain that was used to serve us our meal. We learned a lot about Japanese beef (as some have mentioned we were presented with the pedigree of the cow we were going to enjoy). We enjoyed all the dishes that were presented (we got to try abalone and blowfish) and the wine that was paired with each dish was good too. The chef even escorted us out of the restaurant after the conclusion of our meal, which was a nice touch. This is a once in a life-time meal!!

“Great Food but the Atmosphere Interesting”
We had an great dinner here. The food was incredible, the beef was some of the best I've ever had... and the soy sauce was insane. I would say that the one detraction was the atmosphere did seemed a bit tense with the chef. Not quite sure why but it did feel a bit uncomfortable.
