“Excellent”
Wow 🤩 excellent meal here. The roasted walnuts were great! The steamed fish, sweet and sour pork were sensational. The spicy prawns a real treat and the mango dessert refreshing. I must add the exceptional professional service here was above expectation.

“Expensive, but not satisfying”
Our first visit at Hei Fung Terrace, located on the 2nd Floor of the Peninsula Tokyo. We ordered a course at JPY28,000 plus service charge and tax (USD220 per person). We left the premise very disappointed. We chose this Chinese restaurant because we were looking forward to a satisfying Cantonese ...dinner offered at a hotel with a well-established Hong Kong brand name. The core of the course consisted of a shrimp dish featuring two jumbo shrimps covered with green onion paste, and a Japanese beef filet dish covered by sauce said to be concocted by the head chef. Both dishes were miserably heavy and not making full use of the ingredients. Expected much more from a Chinese restaurant at a Peninsula hotel, especially for the price.

“Delicious Peking Duck with champagne!”
Hei Fung Terrace has been transported from Spring Moon in Hong Kong. The restaurant is very sophisticated atmosphere. It is one of the best Cantonese cuisine in Tokyo. The Chinese Chefs at The Peninsula Hong Kong have brought the very best authentic food, served in the traditional cool elegance of ...a Suzhou garden. Tables are well-spaced for confidential business. We enjoyed delicious food with champagne with good hospitality from the staffs.

“Peking Duck order”
The Peking duck is a ripoff - don't order it. I ordered a half-duck. Rather than present the half duck, they went to a back room and came back with 6 small rolls with some duck inside, and there was a second course with chopped up duck on a lettuce wrap. What happened to the rest of the duck? This w...as a complete joke for the amount of money they charged for the duck. Do not order this dish!

The private room has uninterrupted views of Imperial Palace and broad road way - peace and activity at one. An ideal oasis to enjoy the finest quality Chinesevfayre individually prepared. If more than 3 go for room over hotel entrance - well worth additional fee. Best to have a course - Amber cour...se highly recommended to fuel those taste buds. Peninsula expectations well met!
