“Chinese Fine Dining”
This is a high class restaurant, so expect a high class bill. The food is delicious, well cooked, and well presented. The staff are professionals. We had the 13000 yen set menu. Each course was distinctive, tasty, and beautiful- All the Cantonese favourites- jellyfish, char siu, abalone..., shark fin, Peking duck, etc. Don't come here if you have a huge appetite and a small purse, but if you want to try delicate delicious Cantonese food served with Japanese pinache, then this is the place.

“Chinese Dinner @ Nanen @ Keio Plaza Hotel”
We wanted to try a Chinese Restaurant while in Tokyo and since place was in the hotel that we were staying at, we thought we would try it. We ordered the Hot & Sour soup with Chop Suey (didn't taste like any soup that I've ever had). The Fried noodle with vegetables was okay, but the kicker was the ...chicken with vegetables and cashews (we ordered a small and it was very small!). After eating everything, we were still hungry, so we asked if we could order chicken fried rice, which was not on the menu but they made it for us. We also ordered Chinese green tea which was nice. Our total came out to 84,000 yens which is $90 Canadian. For the same price, we would have gotten Stir fried lobster (Hong Kong Style), vegetable fried noodles, green beans with minced pork, dry fish and olive, deep fried dough fritter and spice & pepper pork chop at Congee Star Mississauga. We found it very strange that you can't find a descent Chinese restaurant in Japan when China is just next door!

“Real Cantonese style of food ”
As a Chinese, am a very picky eater in terms of Chinese food and hardly ever have Chinese food outside China as I believe overseas Chinese food are never the same. However, I found surprises in Keio plaza hotel. Staying here for a week with my family and I was disappointed in the beginning as the ho...tel was quite old and not what I expected like what I saw online. However, this Chinese restaurant and the convenience of the hotel location saved my trip. Having a mother that prefers only Chinese or cup noodle when travel overseas, it is not so easy to please here. This restaurant is a saver. Am sure the chief is a Cantonese cook indeed. Quite tasty food. Whoever wants a real Cantonese treat to friends or family, here is the place to go.
