“Tasty and quick lunch, friendly staff. Highly recommend”
Amazing lunch spot. We got soba and the pork katsu on rice. Was super delicious. We had a tough time finding lunch at around 2PM as most restaurants seemed to be closed. This spot was great, staff spoke English, restaurant was filled with people and food still came out ready within 10 minutes of ord...ering. Highly recommend for a quick, tasty lunch!

“Yum yum”
Our hotel owner recommended this place...and not much was open in Gora past 7:30. We both had the pork katsu with egg/rice which was sensational. Staff friendly with good English. We loved the pork so much we went back for lunch today!

“Great food, great srvice”
We visited Yamaji right at closing time, and the owners graciously stayed open for us. The food was delicious (the katsu is especially good) and the waitress spoke very good English. One of our kids had a meltdown as we left, and the owners kindly gave her a toy pumpkin that she had seen to help cal...m her down. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

“Delicious!”
We were looking for a place to eat during afternoon and finding an open place in hakone isnt exactly easy. This place saved me and my wife from starvation in a superb style - the food is fresh, tasty and very reasonable in terms of price. We were very pleased. The service is one of the best we met i...n Japan. Strongly recommend the place.
