“Times have changed!”
New owner and new format! It is NOT the same bar as it was pre 2017! It is now a “Craft Beer Bar” and less of an Irish Pub. The Guinness is still Top-Notch though! The menu has been reduced as does most businesses that change hands. The pizza is top notch with a new “open-kitchen” type format! I m...iss my bowl of mussels tho! Japanese bar grub WAS awesome here! The beer selection has increased so if that’s your thing then “Bueno”! The problem seems to be a posture being less customer oriented and more “commercialized” based on the allure of this place? Rumor is a big company bought it. Key word there is, “Rumor”! The guys behind the bar are still awesome! Some left over staff from previous owner! Nick-San is gone as well as most of the old staff😫! It still stands to be my home bar in Tachikawa. Plenty of American music by not the same clientele I experienced the last three Japan trips! Meh! Plenty of place to explore in Tachikawa!

“First beer in tachikawa (this trip)”
Busy Saturday night pub. Quick pizza and a couple of pints. Really weird this place is in tachikawa and serving Good Guinness. Definitely my local for this week. Pizza was good too, no real complaints, just weird to be so far from home and having a good pint.

“Avoid this place if you're not Japanese ”
Used to be my fav place. New manager require tourist to order drinks even after purchasing food. We're never coming back again!!

“Irish Pub with American Music”
This is a good pub experience, great service and food. I did find it a bit loud for a large group conversation, but it would be fine for a small group to talk. I had fish and chips, it was yummy.

“My Home Bar in Tachikawa”
This place is a regular stop for English speaking folks and/or people wanting to practice their English. I go to practice Japanese whilst throwing down Jameson Whiskeys or "Vodka Rickys". They do pour a mean Guinness!! Probably one of the best tasting Guinness pours I have ever had(never been to Ire...land). The food has always been good. Japanese barfood is a bit different then The States. You can order a large bowl of steam mussels for less than $10 (890Yen). The pizzas are also delicious. If you want a burger they have them but this Japan.....Don't expect "Five Guys" style burgers here! The servers are awesome and always smile when you arrive. You won't feel more welcomed anywhere else in Tachikawa!!
