“Good for power lunch”
We visited Granara for a lunch meeting. Even during the lunch time, it was quiet enough for us to have decent conversation. Foods and services are great. I shall visit again on my own.

“somehow disappointed”
Once upon a time (30 years ago) this was one of the best italian restaurants in Tokyo. Of italian, now, it seems to have retained mainly the name: the menu (indeed scant), is a combination of japan/italian cuisine. However the dessert (tiramisu) was excellent.

“Lovely”
Granata has been in Tokyo for decades. It is a first class operation and this newer location is lovely and modern. There is an english menu and the staff also speaks english. The wine selections by the glass were limited but the Chianti Classico was very good. I ordered the daily special ravioli and... veal Milanese. Both were authentic and generous. I have attached photos. Granata can be pricey on some items but the quality is excellent. The pastas were reasonably priced.
“Great Pasta”
First of all, yes there is an English menu and some of the staff spoke good English too. Quite a relief if after a hard day your Japanese fails you. The staff were friendly and attentive and the pasta we ordered was good. My wife said the Ariabiatta could have been a bit spicier but the otherwise th...e pasta was fresh and the ingredients were great. The wine list seemed decent but only offered two reds by the glass. There is a decent choice of desert and they were of good quality. Would recommend!
