“Great first experience!”
An amazing experience! And delicious food, if you don’t mind cooking it yourself. We had the shabu-shabu and it was amazing! They do not take reservations. You must take a ticket number. Ours was # 100 (party of 4) when they were serving #92, and we did not wait that much (15 minutes). They do prov...ide bibs, but we thought they were napkins.

“Not to miss a meal at SHABUSEN, Ginza!”
I've eaten here many times over the years. Shabusen is ALWAYS a necessary stop on every trip, which is usually 2x/year. The food is top notch, reasonable and with great service and pleasant staff! Whether you like shabu shabu or sukiyaki, you'll never go wrong. However, it is now located in the Mels...a building, just about across the street from its original CORE bldg!

“Sukiyaki supreme”
Probably the best sukiyaki i have tasted and experienced….located at the heart of Ginza, staff was very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent! Must visit when in Tokyo 🤗

“Fast service, okay food”
[NOTE: The address shown on TA is not correct and the restaurant hasn't updated it. If you go to the address you will find that the restaurant is not there. Luckily there was someone in the building that directed us to the correct location.] The restaurant moved to a larger location. When we arr...ived it was full and we put our name on the waitlist and waited about 15 minutes. Like most places in Tokyo you are expected to order fairly quickly and eat equally so. The food was good but nothing special. You can start with either a soup or salad. Then you cook your meat and vegetables in a pot in front of you, but keep in mind that the pot contains only boiling water. It's not a broth to drink like a soup, so to flavor your food you are given a couple of sauce options. The meat is sliced very thinly, so it doesn't take long to cook. The meat comes with various vegetables, a small serving of rice noodles and tofu. You have the choice of 2 desserts. Service was polite if a bit rushed. The plates are all pre-prepared, so getting your meal didn't take a long time not did it take a long time to eat. Once you're finished you pay and go. Definitely worth a try to see how Japanese eat.

“Not as good as i expected! I had better shabu shabu than this”
The price for the wagyu a5 is not worth it. Just get a3 and its good already. We didnt make it to lunch as its always full..i prefer a different shabu shabu place over this. They give appetizer we got the seaweed they said the tomato is good. Then for dessert we got vanilla and not the melon.
