“Pub to watch the rugby in”
As this pub was just acros from where my accomadation was it was an ideal place to watch the rugby games I did not have a ticket for, the beer was reduced for some beers, but I had the Ashai japaneese beer which was more expensive the bar area was small but there were other areas to sit inside, serv...ice was good and the food was reasonably priced

“Great atmosphere”
Was there for the Scotland Japanese rugby and the place was packed. Food great but could be bigger portions for Europeans. Very friendly banter between Scots and Japanese who applauded each other’s teams scoring. Only spoilt by a rowdy group of English who went mad when Japan scored. They were polit...ely told to subdue their ardour by the Japanese ! One local in a clear voice called them “Boris’s Boys” Beer and Guinness good but expensive.

“Check your bill!”
We were charged for the drinks of the people sitting next to us (also foreigners like us). We were in a hurry to catch our train and didn't notice until after we'd left. Will never return or recommend.

“The saddest irish pub on earth”
We came here with a group of 12. The drinks were ... well there was alcohol in them. We were given a corner and asked to behave. We were repeatedly told we were too loud & talkative. Finally they told us our laughter was bothering people & we should leave. Clearly no one who works here has even be...en to a real irish pub, or Ireland, or a pub.
