“Great homemade Japanese lunch spots”
Very friendly/prompt service and delicious homemade Japanese soba and rice dishes. We had shrimp tempura, beef stew and yuba- all very tasty!! Highly recommended!!

“Wonderful little family restaurant!”
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch at Marmie Kitchen. Upon reaching Gora station, we saw a short line of people waiting to get a table here and decided to try. We waited for about 15 minutes and am glad we did. Very tasty Japanese meals and it felt like home cooked. We think the restaurant is owned... and operated by a husband and wife team. Good selection of food (see my photos) and very cozy inside. We tried several different items (beef stew & rice, pork ginger & rice, yuba soboro don, tempura soba, shirasu & yoba) and they are all very good. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommended when you are in Gora. It is just a 3 minutes' walk from the station and located next door to the Ninja Cafe.
