“Unpleasant experience”
There was an “open” sign so we walked up the stairs and a lady curtly told us “Looks like we’re not seating anymore” and briskly walked away. There was still 40 minutes til close and she could’ve been nicer about it. Especially in Japan it’s surprising because it’s customary to be a lot more polite.

“La Coccola serves a fine lunch at a very fair set price”
La Coccola was clearly busy and most popular, while I was there from Ulaanbaatar with my daughter they turned away several people. I wondered why they did not have more tables for 2, as the tables for 4 wasted valuable seats for hungry customers. They served a three course meal, for a very fair Toky...o price. A simple but good, salad, some vg spaghetti and again a good meat course. Tea and soft drinks were served, sdaly I was not on either the wine or beer.
