Disappointed and Surprised at a Michelin-Starred Restaurant I was genuinely excited to dine at this 1-star Michelin restaurant, expecting a memorable and refined experience. Unfortunately, the evening left me disappointed for reasons I never anticipated. Midway through one of the courses, I discov...ered a worm in my dish. The staff was polite and the chef offered a quick “sorry” followed by the word “change.” They did bring me a new plate, but instead of preparing a fresh dish, it seemed like they just brought out the remaining portion of the original plate. There was no gesture of goodwill—no complimentary dish, drink, or even an acknowledgment beyond that single word. We also had to ask for water multiple times, and it didn’t arrive until after the third course. While the staff was courteous, the service didn’t meet the standard I expected from a Michelin-rated establishment—especially considering the circumstances. Another odd detail: at the start of the meal, we were given a printed sheet explaining the ingredients of each dish, which I appreciated. However, when the food arrived, there was no detailed explanation or storytelling to accompany it. The staff simply read out the name of the dish, which felt impersonal and underwhelming given the level of dining this restaurant aspires to. Lastly, we simply didn’t enjoy the food very much. Taste is subjective, of course, and we understand that trying new or experimental cuisine comes with that risk—but when paired with the other issues, it added to the disappointment. We ended up paying over $200 per person for the meal, and though we came in with high expectations, the overall experience fell far short of what a Michelin star usually promises. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it’s how they’re handled that defines the level of hospitality. Sadly, in this case, it was underwhelming. I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback to heart and continues to grow.

We enjoyed our dining at this Michelin star place. All courses were beautifully prepared and tasted good. It was also easy to make online reservation (with reasonable cancellation policy).

We had no idea what to expect from this restaurant. When we saw the menu, we thought that we couldn't possibly have all this food. They served each course and it was all delicious. The puffer fish was amazing. Everything was beautifully presented, it was all very tasty and service was outstandin...g. They packed up the leftover rice for us and it was just as good the next day. The price was quite reasonable given that this was a Michelin-starred restaurant (well deserving of the star in our opinion).

Hello, me and my partner had a dinner at the restaurant on the 18th of September. I rebooked it online and paid in full. At the restaurant we had drinks and when I payed the bill, I realised they charged me for the whole dinner experience + drinks again. The cashier lady said it will be refund in a ...few days, it's been 2 months and I never got money back. I tried to contact the restaurant but they won't respond. The food was good tho, but this experience with the billing situation left a very bitter aftertaste

A wonderful japanese restaurant with a set menu. All the items are very good to excellent, and if you still feel peckish at the end, you can ask for additional servings of the uni rice. Excellent service as well
